Trade Routes Reopening

UNICOM Monitoring Report – 6 May 2026

Long range radio traffic over recent days has confirmed renewed survivor movement between Deer Isle and Livonia.

The first broadcasts came from a man identifying himself as Duncan “Shaggy” Michaels, reporting his return to Livonia after travelling through Sakhal. Subsequent communications indicate conditions across Livonia remain unstable, with contaminated sectors, collapsing wildlife populations, and isolated survivor groups struggling to maintain supply lines.

In response, operators within the Trade House network have begun organising humanitarian shipments north.

Swansisland Airfield is now being reinforced as a forward logistics point for cargo flights and rotary operations. Survivors with access to:

  • construction supplies
  • fuel
  • mechanical parts
  • NBC equipment
  • ammunition
  • aviation support

are being encouraged to assist where possible.

Additional broadcasts from Livonia have also raised concerns surrounding heavily mutated infected near the Dambog region. Reports describe contaminated infected resistant to conventional fire and capable of releasing toxic gas upon death. Trade House operators are currently attempting to establish whether secure landing zones can be identified for future aid deliveries.

Meanwhile, civilian activity across Deer Isle continues to increase.

Oceanville has issued settlement broadcasts welcoming travellers and traders.
North Haven Airfield has resumed limited import and export operations.
Shaggy’s Autoshop in eastern Livonia has reopened communications for mechanical recovery and vehicle support.

Despite the state of the world, survivors across multiple regions appear to be cooperating once again.

For now, UNICOM frequencies remain active.

Additional operational frequencies may be issued as conditions develop.
