Gameplay Changes

Frostline isn’t just about new items; the update has brought a range of changes that will affect how you play:

  • Consuming Hot Items: You’ll now suffer damage and slowed consumption rates when consuming scorching hot food.
  • Grass Bending Under Infected & Animals: A subtle but immersive visual detail enhancing how creatures interact with the environment.
  • Weather Impacts: Snowfall now affects infected hearing and provides a fresh layer of strategic depth in stealth scenarios.

Fixes & Improvements

Bohemia Interactive has addressed several long-standing issues while introducing performance and quality-of-life improvements:

  • Desync Fixes: Character synchronization issues, especially in vehicles and weapon reloads, have been smoothed out.
  • Weapon Jam States: No more incorrect displays of jammed weapons in your inventory.
  • General Bug Fixes: From vehicle wheel inconsistencies to character stuttering during vaulting, these issues should now be resolved.

New Challenges for DZXRP Roleplay

In light of the new DLC, our DZXRP community should take note of the opportunities and risks that come with the icy landscape of the Sakhal terrain. The addition of freezing items, winter clothing, and new wildlife will impact your survival strategies, making roleplay even more immersive. If you’re part of an organized faction, consider how the new winter environment affects your base-building and interactions. And remember, our community rules on metagaming and gearplay remain in place, ensuring that all gameplay stays fair and narrative-driven.

Known Issues

While this update brings a wealth of new features, a few known issues remain:

  • Server Browser Bug: There may be times where servers don’t display in the in-game browser; resetting filters is a temporary solution.
  • Character Stuttering: Players may notice minor stuttering when passing through doors or vaulting over fences.
  • Weather Desync: In some cases, the weather may desync between players after server restarts.

We encourage all players to submit any bugs encountered through the Bohemia Interactive Feedback Tracker. Let’s work together to make this experience as smooth as possible.

Keep exploring, keep surviving, and see you in the Frostline!
